The heart of every home is where people gather. Chula Vista Lodge near the Frio River is no different. The bedrooms and bathrooms are separated on either side of the indoor living space, leaving the amazing view unobstructed when you walk in. 

This is the one of the largest homes (over 3,000 square feet) in the Tierra Linda Subdivision and 1 of the only 3 homes with 6 Bedrooms in the subdivision.

The fully equipped kitchen puts the other houses in Concan to shame. With granite countertops, guest pantry, and all stainless steel appliances, it is perfect for putting together picnics for the Frio or poolside brunches. 

Large leather sofas, flat-screen television in the living room, and a dining area allow you to keep cool in the A/C while still being a part of the action...but the action is out on the covered patio.

The view is incomparable, especially as you watch the sun fade over the valley and witness the night sky take over. Take a seat by the bar, throw some horseshoes, take a swim and enjoy the beauty of the Texas Hill Country.

The cabana kitchen is perfect for basting your Secret BBQ Sauce on a rack of ribs. The counter is right next to the BBQ pit! It's also perfect for the giant pitcher of margaritas your friends and family have been hankering for. The Margaritaville Blender is a great way to mix up sno-cones for the kids and margaritas for the grown-ups.You can even turn on the outdoor flatscreen to catch the game while you grill. 

The sports pool features a small sun deck for catching some rays or for letting littles splash safely. There is also a large space on the pool deck for dry sunbathing. Only the largest of cannonballs from the pool should be able to reach you. You can also set up the pool volleyball net for a set in the sun.

*During the fall & winter we do offer the option to keep your pool heated to 85 degrees at extra cost of $175 per day for the duration of your stay.

**There is NO gate/fence between the backdoor of the lodge and the pool area.  Fence encloses the outdoor space.  Please do not let children outside without supervision. 

The pool is where the action is, but the Ping Pong table is where the competition gets fierce. And the horseshoe pit...well, we all know how long standing those game stats are. We also have tetherball and ladder-ball, so everyone should be able to find their game.

As the sun goes down, light up the covered patio for twilight swims and marshmallow roasting by the fire pit. Turn the lights down, and watch the stars appear while you float in the pool. Some of our favorite visitors to the lodge at sunset are the deer, jackrabbits, or even the occasional peacock.  It is a magical way to end the day at the Chula Vista Lodge.
